PATIENTprompt augments the practice management suites appointment scheduling capabilities by seamlessly recording information when an appointment is created or modified.
The information is transported securely to PromptAlert’s centralized servers where the confirmation process takes place. The end result is a service which decreases ‘no-shows’. Ultimately, allowing the physician to bill for services rather than encounter idle time when a patient fails to attend or re-schedule the appointment.
PatientPrompt reminders can be delivered via Voice, E-Mail and text-messaging to a cell-phone.

As you will find while reading through the answers to our Frequently Asked Questions, the most common response is ‘It’s up to you!’. PatientPrompt is designed to alleviate your frustration, not add to it.
Family Calling: Many clinics book families into back to back appointments in the same day. PatientPrompt can be configured to make only one call for the whole family! Our competitors would try to confirm each appointment separately, resulting in multiple calls or messages to the same phone. When placing a ‘Family’ call, PatientPrompt speaks the first name of each person with an appointment and also tells them when their appointments begin.
Short notice awareness: Many clinics book appointments on short notice. Depending on the length of time an appointment is booked before the appointment date, a confirmation call might not be necessary. PromptAlert is mindful of such situations and can be set not to confirm appointments within this range.
Best phone number: While most patients prefer to be called at home, others prefer their cell-phone or the office. promptALERT’s integration with many of the major practice management suites allows PatientPrompt to read the preferred contact method as defined in the Practice Management suite. Should the preferred method change, PatientPrompt automatically updates the contact information during the next synchronization.
Answering machine detection: PatientPrompt is Answering Machine ‘aware’. Our calling technology understands how to handle any situation it encounters and will respond accordingly. Different messages are delivered depending on whether the answering party is a human or a machine. PatientPrompt can even detect when the number is un-reachable or out of service and will notify you accordingly.
Smart calling: PromptAlert utilizes Patent Pending ‘Smart’ calling technology when contacting clients. PromptAlert actually gets smarter with every call, utilizing non-demographic data to determine what the best time to call is.
Same day appointment awareness: It is commonplace for an office to book back to back appointments for the same patient with different providers. For example: 9:00am with a hygienist followed by a 9:45am appointment with the Dentist for a quick review. PatientPrompt understands such situations and will only confirm the first appointment for the patient.
